We had the pleasure of assisting Ricardo Preve on his latest documentary, Sometime, Somewhere. He was able to use our space as his office/studio between location interviews across Virginia. This week we’re celebrating 93 years of the life affectionately known as “Mrs. W”. Ardye Williamson passed peacefully from this life early Sunday morning to join her Savior and so many others that we miss. She has been part of the Paladin Family since the beginning—from its inception in 1991 to our first feature film, from working the front desk and serving on the Board of Directors to making our way into our new home on Hinton Ave. For over 30 years, she invested love, sweat, and tears into this company, always standing enthusiastically behind her son’s passions. Without these generous contributions, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Thank you, Mrs, W, for your s***k and sass, your laughter and encouragement, and all of the memories we made. We’ll miss you.

When our founder wasn’t investing in his own creations, he was investing back into the community - one of his many traits that continue to guide Paladin onward. Kent was glad to enjoy the Charlottesville Tom Sox games and to serve on their board. We were glad to welcome Jeff Burton, one the Tom Sox’ founders and one of our Board Advisors, to celebrate their latest success in the Valley Baseball League.

The late Kent Williamson was a major contributor to the early days of our organization, and one of our original board members. Our trophies visited his son Chase and Paladin Media Group recently in his memory.
