The Matchbox Man is the story of one man’s obsession with matchbox cars which he started collecting in 1963 at the age of 7.
🎥Q&A/ Meet & Greet with the filmmaker will follow the 22 minute screening of the film.
This screening and Q&A is FREE and open to the public.

Gorman Bechard is an American film director, screenwriter and novelist best known for his independent feature films Psychos in Love, Friends (with benefits), and You Are Alone; his four rock documentaries Color Me Obsessed: A Film About the Replacements, What Did You Expect? The Archers of Loaf Live at Cat’s Cradle, Every Everything: The Music, Life & Times of Grant Hart, and Who is Lydia Loveless?; his animal welfare documentary A Dog Named Gucci; and his debut novel The Second Greatest Story Ever Told.

In 2004 he co-founded What Were We Thinking Films with producer/videographer Frank Loftus. What Were we Thinking Films is an independent production company that focuses on independent narrative features and genre-breaking documentaries. They have produced thirteen features which have garnered rave reviews, played film festivals around the world, and seen distribution in all media. Next up: FACTORY and BEST VIDEO, the movie.
