: We’ve noticed a lot of artists don’t know what an ‘electronic press kit’, or an ‘EPK’ is. In addition, artists don’t know what a Marketing Checklist is. So, today we’ll break down the meaning of an ‘EPK’ and it’s purpose. After reading, comment below if you think we should continue posting music business tips every week! 🤳🏾

Imagine trying to get a job, or gig without a resume in hand. Every job you apply for will ignore your request for a gig. The purpose of a resume is to show the person hiring that you are fit for the job and will do good for their business. So, your EPK should include a short bio, contact information, your logo, a professional photo, relevant links to your music and videos, any accomplishments made, or stages you’ve performed at. This is one of the key elements to an artists’ career! 🏆

In the music business, an EPK is your resume for event bookings, news, media, etc. Without your resume/EPK, how will a talent buyer know that you’re worth $2,000 for a performance? How will a writer for a media outlet know that your story is worth sharing to their audience? How will they know how you look? An EPK answers all of these questions and more within 1 click. 💎

We paid y’all for an interview almost 2 months ago which we shouldn’t have but did it out of love since y’all had a price regardless of the fact that y’all have no following, so, the video never got posted and you have the audacity to tell us it is a courtesy to do a video interview when you guys never said that in the first place and y’all have NO AUDIENCE and no following while we bring our audience to you your platform. The audacity y’all have when we are the biggest independent label in BOTH Carolinas. Y’all know if y’all interviewed a celebrity, or , etc you guys would’ve posted ASAP 🤔

Then when we commented to ask you guys what happened to the video you deleted the comments instead of fixing the issue. So keep the video. We did you a favor for bringing listeners to your empty audience and you still disrespected us.

We support independent artists and the independent scene, so situations like this will never be tolerated. |

: Drunk driver ran a stop light and hit us on the way to Charlotte!
