Empty nesters Jack and Leah Chen worked with Pacesandroehm and BOLD Construction to build their serene wooded retreat in Pittsboro's Stonecrest neighborhood. Details were inspired by an existing century-old farmhouse on the property, and the couple loves spending time on their back porch listening to birdsong and enjoying one another's company. They have also taken several classes with Chatham County Cooperative Extension to improve their gardening skills and ensure they are being thoughtful stewards of the land.
