Where do I begin? As most of you know I have had a very public life and I don't hide from it. So here it goes.. Yes I'm engaged to a great and wonderful woman, her name is Ruth & I never ever thought I'd be in this situation ever again! But as one person close to me said "Don't ever say Never" So after several years in radio, TV, & Internet, I'm Calling on Retirement! No more HitMix Music USA, No more DJ for events, as I will finish the last few events I have booked. I will continue to book events but will be turning the DJ duties over to Randy Jones as he is very capable of doing you as well of a job as I. I will no longer be doing conversion of VHS or old movies over to DVD, I might consider doing a few songs onto certain formats of storage such as CD or flash drive. As of HitMix Music USA, it will cease operation after Jan. 2024. I would like to invite all of my HitMix Music USA followers and listeners, as well as all Advertisers to come and join me at and on the New WEBS, "The Fox" 1030 AM & 103.5 FM as well as Power 107.7 FM, here in Gordon County. I am happy to tell everyone that I will continue to be a little active in a part time Advertising, Marketing, Internet, Consultant for some of Powell Communications stations. I have been a long friend and co-worker of Randy (Rhodes) Powell for many years, & yes I am just barely older than him,LOL, I look forward to helping when and where I can. But I am mostly going to enjoy spending time with my new wife, Ruth as we plan to spruce up the house and do some traveling! I do want to thank everyone who may have ever listened to me for the past, let's just say 45 + years! LOL, Hope I was able to bring you correct info on Local News Happenings, Inspired, and sometimes just put a smile on your face, or simply take you back to a memory with a song I may have played. God, I thank you for making my life complete! Well here's to my last Chapter....
