The 2024 Ride for Roswell was a rousing success! This year the one-day cycling event raised 5.7 million dollars for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
I had the honor to speak with this year's Celebration of Hope Torch Lighter, Kelly Englert Flak. Her story is an inspiration to all those currently battling cancer... and for those who have lost someone dear.

WNYers stepped up and donated $1,041,775! Thanks to everyone who stepped up to do what we do here-- take care of our own!

A Niagara University alum and his wife have donated $2.5 million to permanently endow a chemistry chair there whose first honoree is chemistry professor Mary McCourt, a PhD scientist whose groundbreaking work on drug delivery technology is poised to transform the pharmaceutical industry.

A dozen Western New Yorkers were honored as "Community Impact Leaders" at a dinner and awards ceremony held in Lancaster Monday night.
The night was hosted by FOCUS-- For Our Community Unity and Support.
It's a group that works to prevent and reduce substance use among youth in the Lancaster-Depew communities.
Congratulations to President and Founder Gwendolyn Bork and her team for an outstanding event.
