The Bulls (5-5, 4-2 MAC) fell to the Central Michigan Chippewas (4-6, 3-3 MAC), 31-27, Wednesday night at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Central Michigan outscored UB 24-3 in the second half to secure the comeback victory.
This 25-yard rushing touchdown, courtesy of senior running back Ron Cook Jr., was one of three times the Bulls found the end zone throughout the game, all of which were in the first half.
With the loss, UB remains in second place in the MAC East and one game shy of bowl-eligibility. They look to rebound next Saturday, Nov. 19 vs. Akron (1-9, 0-6 MAC) at UB Stadium.
Jalen Adaway hit the game-winner to give St. Bonaventure a 68-65 victory over UB. UB rallied to tie the game with 29 seconds remaining but fall in the Western New York rivalry. The Bulls drop to 4-3 on the season.
