We recently asked author Denean Bennett what advice she’d give to aspiring writers. Her message is clear: 'Believe in yourself as a writer. Take a class, connect with other writers, and make writing and editing a daily habit. Embrace constructive criticism, but let go of the destructive. Remember, you won’t please everyone with your writing, but you will please someone—and most importantly, you should please yourself.'
