Good morning to all. So hears the news. This page will have a name change shortly and open to post to keep you updated on projects to help all of Kay county animals. Like free spay and neuter programs a food bank program and much much more. Please bear with as this is a huge change also if you have adopted an animal from a shelter or humane society in Kay county please share pics as well love to see there success story’s. Going to work on the 501c3 none profit side so we can do much more for fellow residents in Kay county. New beginning for an amazing supportive community. This is “Happy”! He is an 8-10 month old heeler hound mix. He is great with kids, cats, dogs, and loves car rides. He walks well on a leash. Happy is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He has had his tail docked due to having “happy tail”. He’s a very loving affectionate boy and wants a lap to land in! If you’re interested in giving this beautiful boy a home, please call the PD and set up a meeting with ACO Dodge and Happy!

We have some amazing dogs that need help getting out. I’m working on getting pics our ACO has been very busy with my first week out for treatment. Let’s show him some major support. Donations always needed dog food wet and hard. Cat food wet and cat litter.

Here’s what I have right now some are still on stray hold. But most are up for adoption’s.

I wanted to update our amazing community on what’s going to be happening for October and November.

As of October 9th ACO Yinger will be starting chemo and radiation treatment. With that I will be off work for the duration of the treatment. This is going to be very hard for me as I absolutely love my job and the animals that we get to come in contact with. I’m going to take my time off to get treatment and get healthy so I can come back ready to save some lives.

With that being said we have a new ACO officer. Nick Dodge. He has been here for almost 4 weeks. He has learned a lot but this job come with so many responsibilities so please be patient with everything.

During that time we will not be taking owner surrender animals. He’s not ready to be at max capacity. We will offer to curdocey post them to help find homes.

We appreciate your support and look forward to getting back to a good grove when I return.
