I'm the former host of the #1 night time radio show "Holmes & The Freak Show" (Madison WI 2015-18, Grand Rapids 2005-2015, Toledo (2008-2015), XM Sat Radio + more THE LONG EXPLANATION - BY HOLMES:

ener can get on air if they have SOMETHING worth while to say, so you never know what you'll hear next. I just talk a bunch of crap in between the listeners, put it all together and get it on the radio. I talk on the radio like REAL people talk, NO FILTER, I don't sugar coat things. But I'm NEVER EVER purposely vulgar, I never intend to hurt any feelings or offend. I DO CLOWN ON PEOPLE. It's what I do. And I clown on EVERYONE equally, INCLUDING MYSELF. The BIG picture, the REASON I open the mic every time, is to make SOMEONE smile or happy - whether it's something I say, a song I play, prize we give, whatever. I feel it's a privilege to be able to talk to all of you, and it's an awesome feeling to know that every time I crack the mic, I have the power to put a smile on the faces of the tens of thousands listening each show.
