The Michigan Poet

The Michigan Poet Primarily a print and web publication, The Michigan Poet provides high quality poetry from Michigan-based poets to Michigan communities.

The Michigan Poet also organizes readings and educational events. Whether it's automobile manufacturing, furniture production, fishing/hunting, boating, industrial collapse, cherries, farming, or any other of the many well known cultural stays, people from Michigan identify with and are influenced by the state. The Michigan Poet believes art is an essential component to the cultural identities all

people invariably develop. The Michigan Poet dreams of a place where every person can name their favorite contemporary poem, explain why it is important to them, recite it even.

So many events! Catch a glimpse of a mermaid near you!
