BACKA Media Group is holding auditions to cast feature films under our purview, on Sunday afternoon, June 9, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Location provided after you sign-up to attend.

FILM 1

• Female 25 to 35 years old
Has three kids she doesn't take proper care of, always partying, irresponsible and aloof, hardheaded, beautiful, and self-centered.

• Female 25 to 35 years old
Married with kids, stable, used to be on the wild side, but she matured and opted for stability.

• Male 25 to 35 years
Perpetrator, self-described "player" and would-be gangster, a user of women, a self-centered you know what.

• Male 30 to 45 years old
Stable, mature, family oriented, but a man not to be messed with.

• Female 12 to 14 years old
Oldest child of the protagonist. Responsible, determined caring, but nearly fed up with her mom.

• Male 8 to 11 years old
Middle child of the protagonist. Smart, flippant. Doesn't respect his mother because of her behavior, gets on his big sister's nerves.

• Female 4 to 6 years old
Youngest child of the protagonist. Soft-spoken, small, aware, misses her mother, who is always "out."

• Female 40 to 55ish years old
Wise, godly neighbor who has seen it all, helps with the kids, gives protagonist unheeded advice.

• Several friends and extras

Paid cast.

FILM 2

• (3) Females 20 to 30 years old
• (3) Male 40 to 50ish years old
• (3) Male 25 to 35 years old
• (2) Females 45 to 60ish years old
• (2) Male 45 to 60ish years old

Character descriptions for FILM 2 may be revealed after sign up or at audition, but we can say this is a redemptive story with a biting edge, and a serious storyline.

- If you feel that you are suitable for any of these roles, you are invited and encouraged to audition.

- If you are over 100 miles away from Houston and want to audition, you may be able to film or zoom your audition, on a case by case basis.

- Ethnicities are not set and can vary.

- Please don't respond if you don't intend to show up. We are not new to this...
