The middle image is Berry Springs Park but I hadn't been Mckinney Falls in a while and I forgot how majestic some parts of the park are. One of our intentions in Chronicles is to show off some of the really cool features and locations in Texas.
Yes it is Hot. Yes, some of trees are not very tall, but there's more than enough beautiful locations in Central Texas to make a fantasy film and we'll prove it. Please continue to suppprt our efforts!

I used to draw. I thought I was going to be a sketch artist when I was a kid. I actually designed a tattoo, a cd cover etc in my teens. What's crazy is that some of these characters we're bringing to life in Chronicles of A Broken Path I dreamed up 15-20 years ago. Sometimes it takes that long to make it happen. So I'm at home tightening up my script for Chronicles of A Broken Path and I'm watching the anime "Uncle from Another World". Epsisode two is ALL about a game called GUARDIAN HEROES on Sega Saturn.
I was a SEGA head. Any other Sega, Streets of Rage, Sonic, Beyond Oasis, G.Heroes etc. heads out there? That was me All day. This. Was. My. Favorite. Game. Multi player, multi planar, throws, air combos, team up attacks. 197 paths through game and multiple endings. AND a battle royale mode? It was dope. It was ahead of it's time. It was visionary.
Just hearing it's name brought back memories. I could HEAR the soundtrack in my head clear as day. i could hear the Roar of my ally when he rages out and nukes everything on screen.
Games like that. Memories like that are what got me into fantasy in the first place. The odds. The locations. The adventure. Sometimes we find ourselves going through the motions while forgetting what it was that SET us into motion in the first place. I needed this. My momentum dipped a bit. Maybe I saw this cuz God wanted to supercharge the boy cuz I'm Fired Up right now!

Allow us to introduce you to our main armor master, Matt Poitras of MP Filmcraft. His gear is amazing and he's responsible for many of the pieces you'll see in the short film (releasing very soon) and the feature film trilogy eventually. He creates custom sheathes, gambesons, chain mail, cuirasses, bracers and more. He also has a strong background in producing period themed projects himself.
