Let me introduce myself.

My name is Dan Riley, I’m a writer and a podcaster. I wrote the book Generation Atheist, hosted The Exchange podcast, and now host The ATX Podcast, an interview show with noteworthy people from my home city, Austin, Texas. Apart from podcasts, I have also worked in the non-profit, political, and tech worlds.

I do enjoy traveling, writing, reading, and socialising, though it can be challenging these days. And that’s why I spend most of my time working, taking long walks, journaling, and trying to grow every day.

If you have some questions, go ahead and ask me :)

James White was the founder and the owner of the Broken Spoke , a legendary two-step honky-tonk bar in Austin.

He passed away at the end of January. He had recently dealt with an illness and returned home from the hospital.

I was lucky to have him as a guest on my podcast ( link in bio). He was a sweet and hilarious man, that had so many stories to share.

May God rest his H***y Tonk soul!
