This picture is TRUTH!!! I have learned lessons about “Me” along my entrepreneur journey that have literally made me cringe 😬. I left money on the table on numerous occasions because I was not canceling some habits that I knew that I needed to get rid.

👉🏽 One habit was allowing others to make me question my service fees!!! I had to learn that this habit was very damaging and was a breeding ground for inconsistencies & doubts ….

I was in my Happy Place today!! Sharing wisdom and knowledge on career planning with the students makes me smile 😊… I wish that I had a “Coach Jacole” to chat with at there age! 💪🏽 We are pouring into our Future Leaders ⭐️⭐️

HAPPY TUESDAY!

I just completed a wonderful student career planning workshop with 21 middle school students at the Communities In Schools In Troup County (Lagrange, Ga.) summer camp!! This is session #2 with these students and they were in (5) groups identifying the career choices they shared on their career plans last week.

The Information shared by the students during their presentations was awesome! Hindsight, knowing what I know now, this type of workshop would have been very helpful for me when I was their age.

If you lead with Strategic Thinking themes, when it comes to coping with burnout you may want to instinctively stop and take time to think through your situation. You instinctively may want to take lots of breaks to relax, clear your head, and reset in order to deal with the burnout.

Your instinctual coping strategies may not bring the best results when it comes to burnout. When you stop and take time to think through your situation, there’s only a 16% decrease in burnout symptoms. Instead, individuals strong in the Strategic Thinking domain (Analytical, Context, Futuristic, Ideation, Input, Intellection, Learner, Strategic) should think about the current situation as a challenge to find a way to succeed. By doing this, there can be a 42% decrease in burnout symptoms.

Since you are always talking to people, you have a lot of friends and colleagues, and you may turn to thinking about how your work affects them. This coping mechanism can actually make burnout symptoms worsen by 35%.

Instead of thinking about how others that you work with might feel about the same situation, think about how you have approached similar situations before. By turning to this coping strategy, you can see a 43% decrease in burnout symptoms.
