ERKAN KARAKİRAZ
Poet/writer, critic, editor, publisher, translator, radio programmer, singer-songwriter and director. He published two poetry collections, “İçgeçit” (Innerpath) and “Gürült.” (Nois.). He publishes the book series Yerüstü (Overground) and the fanzine Yer Üssü Alfa (Ground Base Alpha). He is on the editorial board of the poetry review CazKedisi (JazzCat). He is one of the editors and

translators of Pikaresk Publishing. He was in the committee of International Marmaris Short Film Festival in 2018. His interdisciplinary video-installations have been exhibited/screened at the events/festivals like International İstanbul Literature Festival (ITEF), projects held by Exiled Writers Ink with Norwegian PEN and Venice Borders Festival. He directed interdisciplinary short films including performance-art elements for “Açık Şiir”. He produced, edited and hosted some of the episodes of “Turkish Sofa” on Trafika Europe Radio. He is also a singer-songwriter in the genres of electronic, noise, experimental and acoustic-folk; he prepared shows including visual/aural collages.
