Some times ago I was in London , a Ghanaian artiste was having a show at one venue . I was like I need to pull up and support . Unfortunately they didn’t let me in . The artiste denied . I am not going to call names .

My own brother denied me but Wizkid and Omah invited me for their shows . We performed together . I felt like I was with my brothers . The problem in Ghana is deep . Sometimes it’s not the foreigners but just us Ghanaians “

Nigerians just love people doing well . They don’t even have to know your nationality . When you are doing something great , they embrace and support you . Imagine Wizkid and Omah Lay treating King promise better than his own brothers . Wizkid and omah lay could never show him hate .

Most of these industries who cry everyday lack unity and genuine love for each other .

GHANAIAN MUSICIANS HAVE CALLED FOR A TEMPORARY BAN OF NIGERIAN AND FOREIGN MUSIC IN THE COUNTRY STARTING THIS DECEMBER..

Popular Ghanaian singers Black Sherif, Samini, and Regi Redstone, along with several stakeholders in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, held a conference meeting today, announcing and urging Ghanaian DJs, TV shows, and stakeholders to cease playing Nigerian and foreign music in the country this December, instructing them to focus on playing 100% Ghanaian music for the fans inorder to promote their culture and empower their artists.

This comes after the entire Ghanaian Apple Music Top 10 end of year charts 2023 was entirely dominated by Nigerian musicians, with no Ghanaian artist getting a spot in their own country's Top 10 Charts. According to Samini, Black Sherif, and Co., this is a movement to restore the glory of Ghanaian music in the hearts of Ghanaians and empower Ghana's own stars. They believe that if their people do not support them, no one else will come to do so for them.

Leone Rock Metal Group- Sierra Leone Takes a Historic Leap in Sierra Leone's Mining Sector

In a momentous ceremony held on October 5th, 2023, Leone Rock Metal Group (LRMG) marked a significant milestone in the country's mining industry. The event celebrated the successful shipment of iron ore aboard the company's own vessel, MV Leone Fortune, at Freetown outer anchorage. This groundbreaking achievement has positioned LRMG as the first iron ore mining company in Sierra Leone to purchase and operate its own vessel for shipping ore to the market.

The ceremony, attended by esteemed government officials and key personnel from LRMG, symbolized the company's unwavering commitment to transforming the mining sector in Sierra Leone. Umaru Napoleon Koroma, the Deputy Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources, affirmed that this historic occasion signified a remarkable shift in the industry. He emphasized that LRMG's investment in acquiring its own vessel would significantly reduce transportation costs, expedite shipping schedules, enhance productivity, and ultimately contribute to increased revenue for the country.

The Minister of Transport and Aviation acknowledged the challenges faced in establishing international linkages for transportation by sea and air. Expressing gratitude to LRMG for its proactive response in revitalizing the mining industry, the minister urged the company to register MV Leone Fortune as a Sierra Leonean carrier. Furthermore, he expressed enthusiasm for witnessing the development of a fleet from LRMG in the near future.

Mr. Charlie, the Deputy General Manager of LRMG, reaffirmed the company's commitment to responsible mining practices and its dedication to fostering economic growth and development in Sierra Leone. He emphasized that LRMG's venture into owning its vessel would not only bolster the country's economy but also provide employment opportunities for the local workforce. With over 5,000 employees already working across its sites, LRMG's continued presence in Sierra Leone is set to contribute to the nation's prosperity.

Over the past two years, Mary has traveled to Togo, Niger, Ivory Coast, and Germany to pursue her studies and gain expertise in the field of energy.

Mary speaks both French and English fluently.
