Patrice Motsepe, Africa’s first black billionaire, has recorded a $600 million gain to his net worth in just 90 days.

This substantial growth has elevated Motsepe’s net worth to $3.1 billion as of the latest report, up from $2.5 billion recorded on March 18, 2024.

Chilima’s phone last available at 10 am
Fears are mounting that Malawi Vice President Saulos Chilima has died in a crash landing in Chikangawa forest. This after his chopper failed to land at Mzuzu Airport this morning.

Information that Malawi24 has sourced indicated that Chilima was aboard a Malawi Defence Force chopper to attend a funeral of lawyer Ralph Kasambara. However, the plane failed to land at the airport due to bad weather.

It was on return that the plane is feared to have crashed. According to sources, a crash was eyewitnessed in the Chikangawa forest area. It is believed that it is the plane carrying Chilima.

At the moment, government has not said anything to dispel the fears but sources have confirmed that President Lazarus Chakwera has cancelled his trip to the Bahamas.

Other sources have said that Chilima’s phone was last available at around 10:30 am this morning. The plane was expected back in Lilongwe at most an hour after return from Mzuzu.

Teal Industry is a new factory with, at the moment, a weaving capacity of 30,000 meters per month and the fabrics produced are 100% cotton and are perfectly suited for clothing, indigo dyeing and furnishings. BURKINA FASO announces the extension of military rule by another 5 years under an accord adopted during national consultations on Saturday.

This means, the 36-Yr-Old Interim President, Capt. Ibrahim Traoré will continue serving in that position and also be eligible to contest in elections in 2029.

The decision has vehemently been rejected by most political parties.

The army has governed Burkina Faso since 2022, carrying out two coups that it said were justified in large part by the persistent insecurity.

After taking power, the coup leaders expelled French troops and diplomats, and have instead turned to Russia for military assistance.

Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame declares for re-election in 2024
-- As minority parties support his candidacy

Thurday, President Kagame, who is also the RPF candidate for the upcoming presidential elections, presented his candidature to the National Electoral Commission (NEC). The President was accompanied by First Lady Jeannette Kagame, RPF Vice-Chairperson, RPF Secretary-General, and RPF commissioners, according to a report from President Paul Kagame 's verified page.

Kagame's candidacy was finalized by the RPF without objections at the end of its congress on 9 March 2024. He was also endorsed by the Liberal Party and the Social Democratic Party on 31 March.

Kagame, who became president in 2000, is eligible to continue in office for another decade after a constitutional amendment in 2015.

I met this woman about 6yrs ago & she promised me 100k every month for up keep if I'll accept to be with her every time that she needs me.

She had no child before we met but in the 6yrs of our affair, she now has 2 daughters, age 2 and 3, They so much look like my mom & even have my nose so I really do not need a magician nor DNA test to tell me they're mine even though this woman has never told me she was ever carrying my child all these years but that's by the way..

I have a girlfriend whom i love so much & plan to marry, besides I'm still very much young, i can make as many babies as i wish. So, I really don't care about the paternity of the kids. The major issue here is that all of a sudden this woman has stoped picking my calls and have blocked me on all social media platforms, even when i use another account or number to get to her she'll cut the call and block me. This has been happening for close to 4 months now and I haven't been receiving anymore allowances from her as promised even before we started the affair. It really hurts me because i have been unable to settle my bills for these past months that she's been avoiding me

Was hoping that she'll at least compensate me for my services by settling me with 2 million but she has refused and instead asked me to stay away from her because she's married. Vladimir Putin has secured another six-year term as Russian president, exit polls showed Sunday, paving the way for the hardline former spy to become the longest-serving Russian leader in more than 200 years.

✍🏿 Putin was congratulated by the leaders of China, Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, as well as Pope Francis. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon was the first to congratulate Putin from the former Soviet republics, followed by the presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

He secures 5th term in office as President of Russia after a landslide victory of 87% of the final vote.
