The Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI), is the brainchild of Russia's leading news agency RIA Novosti and Russia's highest courts: the Constitutional Court, theSupreme Court, and the Supreme Commercial Court. RAPSI is uniquely positioned to provide breaking and highly sought after news, largely because its journalists have their own sources in all institutions within the Russian judicial com
munity. As an agency, we aim:

• To promote transparency and openness of the Russian legal system and law enforcement agencies;

• To enhance legal literacy both among society at large;

• To form a platform for discussing topical legal issues. RAPSI's audience includes governmental officials, attorneys, legal experts, and members of the business community. Its journalists focus on the activities of Russian courts, international legal news and analysis, current trends in domestic and international legislation, and on the state of Russia's legal market. Agency correspondents cooperate closely with the press services of courts and governmental institutions, as well as with prominent Russian lawyers and law firms. RAPSI's page aims to create a new media platform for lawyers and other members of the professional community who are engaged in the qualitative improvement of our domestic and international legal culture.
