اسماعیل تارا (November 1949 – 24 November 2022) ایک پاکستانی اداکار اور کامیڈین تھے۔ انہوں نے اسٹیج ڈراموں، ٹیلی ویژن اور لالی وڈ فلموں میں کام کیا۔
وہ ہاتھی میرے ساتھی (1993) ، آخری مجرا (1994) ، منڈا بگڑا جائے (1995)، چیف صاحب (1996) اور دیواریں (1998) میں بہترین مزاح نگار کے لیے پانچ بار نگار ایوارڈ یافتہ تھے۔
وہ 1980 کی دہائی میں پی ٹی وی پر نشر ہونے والا لا زوال ڈرامہ ففٹی ففٹی میں اپنے بہترین کام کے لیے مشہور ہیں۔

رؤف خالد (19 دسمبر 1957 - 24 نومبر 2011) ایک فلم ساز، اداکار اور پی ٹی وی کے مصنف/ ہدایت کار تھے.
انہوں نے اسلامیہ کالج یونیورسٹی پشاور میں تعلیم حاصل کرنے کے بعد فلموں اور ٹیلی ویژن ڈراموں میں کام کیا.
1991 میں، انہوں نے گیسٹ ہاؤس (ٹی وی سیریز) لکھی، ایک 52 قسطوں پر مشتمل مزاحیہ سیریز جو آج بھی اپنی منفرد کامیڈی کی وجہ سے لوگوں میں مقبول ہے۔
2003 میں رؤف خالد نے اپنی پہلی فلم لاج ریلیز کی۔ اگرچہ اس نے مبینہ طور پر باکس آفس پر خراب کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کیا، اس نے 12 بولان ایوارڈز، 14 گریجویٹ ایوارڈز، 4 نیشنل فلم ایوارڈز اور لکس اسٹائل ایوارڈز جیتے۔
2007 میں، رؤف خالد نے لوک ورثہ، شکر پڑیاں، اسلام آباد میں ٹی وی اور فلم ڈائریکشن کا کالج قائم کیا۔ وہ نیشنل انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف کلچرل سٹڈیز اسلام آباد کے چیئرمین تھے۔
ان کی گیارویں برسی پر نیشنل اکیڈمی آف میڈیا سائنسز ان کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہے۔
