In 1948 a very renowned and literary person of Lahore, Sheikh Bashir founded a publishing house at circular road. He was very popular and well mannered among city’s prominent personalities, his publishing reached many successes in its journey of more than 50 years. His talented and enthusiastic son Sheikh Abu Bakar Siddiq founded his own publishing house named “Maktaba-e-Danyal” in 1998. Till now

Sheikh Abu Bakar has published thousands of books on various subjects like Iqbaliyat, literature, history, Islam, mass communication, journalism, medicine, etc. His publishing house is now of the prominent publishing houses in Pakistan.
