Pakistan is our homeland, and it was just a few decades ago that we made the decision to establish our own country and become a nation. This journey of nation-building is ongoing, and considering the relatively short time frame, we should not be overly critical of our progress. We are advancing step by step, moment by moment. Positively, we are a nation where the youth comprise 64% and women 49.6%, both contributing significantly to our country. We have a bright future ahead of us. A Black Box Sounds production.

Experts in water management, agriculturalists, government officials, and business leaders from different parts of the world came together in Islamabad to discuss practical strategies to tackle water scarcity and enhance the skills of the general public.

Pakistan Water Week 2023 was organized by the International Water Management Institute IWMI Pakistan in partnership with the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources PCRWR through the Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR) and support from UNICEF Pakistan GIZ Pakistan.

Black Box Sounds is a development communications company that specializes in productions aimed at social and developmental issues, behavioral change communication and mass awareness. We have recently executed another successful project, a social and behavior change campaign called "Think Safe". The campaign was produced in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Ministry of Commerce, Textile, Industry & Production and Investment (MoC) of Pakistan. The aim of the campaign is to reduce accidents and damages at the workplace, as well as to initiate and sustain positive attitudes, practices, and behaviors.

The campaign was launched at a "Strategic Dialogue on the Promotion of Sustainable Textiles" in Islamabad, Pakistan. The event was attended by representatives from the government, the private sector, and civil society. The campaign was well-received by the audience, and it is expected to have a positive impact on the safety of workers in the textile. Black Box Sounds is continuing to produce high-quality content that is making a positive impact on the world. I look forward to seeing what they do next.

Black Box Sounds organised and executed Dissemination Events for World Bank Pakistan Human Capital Review

Black Box Sounds, Pakistan’s leading development communications company, recently hosted the dissemination events for the World Bank’s Pakistan Human Capital Review in Islamabad and Karachi. The events were attended by political and development sector leadership, private sector, civil society, media, and the visiting Vice President of the World Bank Ms. Mamta Murthy.

The World Bank’s Human Capital Review provides a comprehensive analysis of the challenges facing Pakistan’s human capital development. The report makes a number of recommendations, including:

Investing more in early childhood education
Improving the quality of education
Reducing child mortality
Improving access to healthcare
Promoting gender equality
These are all important steps that Pakistan needs to take if it wants to improve its human capital index and create a more prosperous future for its citizens.

Black Box Sounds is proud to have played a role in raising awareness of the human capital crisis in Pakistan. We believe that by working together, we can create a better future for all Pakistanis.
