Bimmah Sinkhole is a marvellous piece of nature filled with amazing emerald-green water. Even though a local legend says that it was formed by a meteorite fallen in this place (Hawiyat Najm means “the falling star“), it was caused by the limestone erosion and the collapse of the rocks.

The sinkhole is considered one of the more beautiful of its kind, with crystal-clear waters carving a hole through the soft limestone.

“The daily mail” has even called it the world’s most beautiful sinkhole.
