Maraming tao ang nagsasabi na, you attract what you want to happen in your life. They say, just believe in yourself. Walang imposible kung maniniwala ka lang. Is it true? No.
Halos pitong taon na ang nakalipas, mukhang totoo nga na inaattract mo kung ano ang gusto mong maabot sa buhay dahil nangyari ang mga pangarap ko- to graduate with honors and to top the licensure examinations. Then came the day my life turned upside down.
I am diagnosed with a rare congenital disease called "Brain Arteriovenous Malformation" in August of 2013. It caused two major strokes at the age of 21. It made me undergone an open-skull surgey and a radiosurgery. It caused an infection in my trachea called "Stenosis." The bleeding on my brain left me disabled up to date. My life suddenly evolved into countless hospital visits, tons of lab tests, and a battle with physical disabilities.
Is this what I have hoped for? Hindi. Eto ba ang pinangarap ko sa buhay ko? Hindi rin. Matagal ko ng ginagawa ang lahat ng magagawa ko para makalakad muli. Pero hindi nangyari. Hindi parin ako magaling.
