Attention ladies and gentlemen who are about to aboard the Creative Horizon Express, Centro Creatives train has officially reached the maximum number of passengers and is now ready to take off.

The Centro Creatives are becoming a growing family, and unfortunately, we are informing you that the Membership Application is closed!

The Centro Creatives would like to extend their gratitude to those who tried to claim their golden tickets to join our express. We are fortunate enough to meet new talented minds. On top of that, we would like to welcome all of the new members of the Centro Creatives. We hope that together we will grow and have fun in the future.

3... 2... 1... rolling

Did you miss our first event? Worry not, Centro Creatives is here to give you a glimpse of what happened last September 2, 2023, during their film showing and directors’ talk, titled "Volume Up: Stories That Matter to the People"...

Not only did we watch the two award-winning films produced by our Escolarian alumni, but we also had a wonderful opportunity to hear about their experiences and setbacks in making these films. Surely, the remarkable experiences they shared spoke volumes on the challenging processes they underwent that eventually led them to success.

We acknowledge the presence of Dir. Jannela Kyla Dela Pena and Asst. Dir. Jerome Ventinilla (of RRRWGHHRW or Carabao Noises), Asst. Dir. Charisse Marie Mahilum (of Sol’s Eatery), the Executive Producer of both films, Ms. Hannahlyn Tomaquin, and their mentor, Mr. Valentino Nool Jr., in our event last Saturday afternoon, at the Multimedia Instruction Room.

Again, Centro Creatives is filled with much gratitude to these incredible people for letting the audiences catch a glimpse of their short films as well as their film-making journey. We thank you for imparting wisdom and for being an inspiration to the next generation of film directors, writers, editors, and producers!

Highlights from the Centro Creatives’ film showing and directors talk

Centro Creatives held their very first event for this school year at the Multimedia Instruction Room on September 2, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.The event is entitled Volume Up: Stories That Matter to the People.

The main highlights of this event were the two short films that were made by our own fellow escolarians. Sol's eatery is directed by Ms. Paula Bianca Cecilio, and RRRWGHHRW (CARABAO NOISES) is directed by Ms. Kyla Dela Pena.

We are fortunate to also have the opportunity to know the ins and outs of what actually went through the process of making this such a great masterpiece from Ms. Jannela Kyla Dela Pena, Director of RRRWGHHRW (CARABAO NOISES), Ms. Charisse Marie Mahilum, the Assistant Director of Sol’s Eatery, and their mentor, Mr. Valentino Nool Jr. We give thanks to Ms. Hannahlyn Tomaquin, Executive Producer of Sol's Eatery and Mr. Jerome Ventinilla, Assistant Director of RRRWGHHRW (CARABAO NOISES) as well.
