Si San Isidro nagsilbi siya sa usa ka adunahan nga si Juan de Vargas sa iyang uma ug gihimo siyang tinugyanan sa tanang kayutaan.

Si San Isidro matag buntag sa dili pa siya moadto sa iyang trabaho, siya kanunay mo-adto sa Simbahan aron mag-ampo, maminaw sa pulong sa Ginoo ug moka-on sa Lawas ni Cristo. Today's Liturgical Bible Sharing (LBS) Seminar at Anibongan ES was truly inspiring! Attendees delved into the depths of scripture, gaining valuable insights and fostering a deeper connection with their faith.

But the day didn't end there! Following the LBS, we delved into the rich history of our GKK community with talks by different speakers, highlighting our journey of faith and unity.

And what made it truly special? The day culminated in a beautiful Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Ben Canete, our esteemed Parish Administrator. His presence and guidance blessed our gathering, making our Pre-Fiesta Seminar a resounding success!

𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒂: Nganong ABO man ang ibadlis panahon sa Ash Wednesday?

𝑇𝑢𝑏𝑎𝑔: Sa daang tugon ang tima-ilhan nga sila naghinulsol ug nagbasol sa ilang mga sala abo gayud ang ilang gamiton isip pagtimaan nga sila tiunay nga naghinulsol ug nagbasol. (Josue 8:2)

Ang abo diha sa mata sa atong Kristohanong pagtuo nagtimaan kini ug KASUB-ANAN, PAGHINULSOL, UG PAGBASOL kay tungod ang ABO, “NOTHING” ug diha sa atong kinabuhi wala kitay angay ipanghambog diha sa atubangan sa Ginoo kay gumikan kining atong gipanghuptan ug naangkonan sa Ginoo man kani nagagikan ug kita piniyalan lamang.

Ang abo nga ibutang sa atong tagsa-tagsa ka mga agtang panahon sa Ash Wednesday usa kana ka pagpahinumdom kanatong mga magtutuo diha sa Simbahan nga ‘kita abo ug sa abo kita mobalik.’ Gen. 3:19 ug kana usab, usa kana ka pagpahinumdom kanato sa paghinulsol, ug pagbasol sa atong mga SALA.

Ug Kana nga pahinumdom, dapat diha sa kinabuhi sa mga magtutuo naka marka ang paghimo ug “Self-Denial and Generosity” pasabot nga diha sa atong tagsa-tagsa ka mga kaugalingon panahon sa Kwaresma naka marka ang pagpugong sa kaugalingon ug pagkamanggihatagon ngadto sa atong isigkaingon. Ug dili lamang panahon sa Kwaresma kita gidasig niini sa atong Inahang Simbahan kondili sa matag karon ug unya diha sa atong kinabuhi.

Panahon nga badlisan ang atong tagsa-tagsa ka mga agtang ginamit ang abo, ang pari o ang kaabag nga mobadlis moingon ‘Tuohi ang ebanghelyo ug biya-i ang imong mga sala.’ (San. Marcos 1:15 )

As the sun painted the morning sky on December 29, 2023, Mini Deanery Betsaida emerged as the shining star of the 22nd Sacred Heart of Jesus Quasi Parish Day Celebration—a day etched in the annals of our shared victories and communal joy.

In a dazzling display of creativity, rhythm, and unity, our mini deanery clinched the title of Champion in the Christmas Dance Contest, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of the spectators. The dance floor transformed into a canvas of synchronized movements, radiating the festive spirit that encapsulated the theme, "A Synodal Celebration of the Heart of Christmas."

But the triumph didn't stop there. In the Christmas Village Making Contest, Mini Deanery Betsaida showcased unparalleled artistry and craftsmanship, securing the coveted 1st Place. The village echoed with the collective effort and creative brilliance of our talented delegates, constructing a picturesque representation of the season's magic.

Amidst the festivities, our mini deanery proudly wore the crowns of "Most Number of Delegation" and "Most Synodal Mini-Deanery," a testament to the enthusiastic participation and unity that defines the very essence of our community.

In the tapestry of our celebration, each victory is a thread woven with the spirit of collaboration, determination, and shared purpose. The theme echoed in our hearts, resonating with the synodal symphony we collectively orchestrated.
