The Immaculate Conception, one of the four Marian dogma started among the Gnosticism, a part of earliest christians with different views with the mainstream or orthodox Christianity. Their books still exist with us and it is not part of the official orthodox cannon of the New Testament. But the books are part of the non-orthodox cannon among Eastern Gnostic Christian, now gaining among alternative Christianity or alternative religion.
The view of immaculate conception permeates in Catholicism since a number of gnostic turned to Catholics influence when the power of the empire t**e reign of amalgamation of the belief system in the empire for political reason.
These books are now called traditions, but when Catholics declared the view a Catholic belief, as a magisterium, it became a Catholic. But the Catholics cannot officially put it in the cannon and label it as spurious etc.
It is about Mary officially called Virgin Mother of God, the mother of Jesus as a product not of sin by sin and for sin. Simply stated Joaquin and Anne did not s*x to produce Mary. Mary is not a product of human s***m and female egg. The view of perpetual virgin roots also in Gnosticism. This means that Mary and Joseph did not engage in marital consummation, or s*x resulting a non-reproduction of their marriage.
Why Gnosticism hold this view? It's because of philosophizing the matter and spirit. And matter is corrupted by sin since Eve. The serpent's seed view when Eve ate the fruit to mean s*xual activity between Mary and the serpent. The serpent is not a snake but materialization of Samael called Lucifer by Christians. Every now and then the sons of gods cohabitate with the daughters of men contaminating humanity.
Therefore to free the body of Christ from contamination of sin, the body of Mary must be free from sin when Jesus has to be born, He needed a sinless body.
This is called preventive salvation. This the basis she said, "My soul glorify the LORD my Savior." God preventive Mary from potential sin. It is said, the rest of humanity has gained restorative salvation.
The objective of the scheme is not the Virgin Mary but to have a body of Jesus free from sin to become a sinless sacrifice for the sins of humanity.
That singular body of the virgin, her egg by parthenogenesis oscillated by the Holy Spirit, produced the body of Jesus. So the Stella Marie in a popular Marian song, a star falling from heaven became a child of Anne.
New ager called this alien narratives. I will give a separate content of this issue.
But since reformed theologians hold a separate view of sin as a non material construct, the immaculate view is not considered theologically sound. It held that Mary is virgin but her birth is a natural process. S*x between married has no taint of sin, and s*x is spiritual gift and act using human body to fulfill spiritual task of cocreation. She has natural body that could be potentially sinful.
The body of Jesus is cosmic and not genetically exclusive from Marian body but also inclusive of every bit the cosmos it intake during his Earthly life.
It means, the water, the air, earth plants , grains and the quantum scalene of the divinity.
That seed of the woman mentioned by Moses and Paul is from Heaven according to the Gospel of John which the Gospel of Luke and Gospel of Matthew recorded and suffered, died, buried and rose up according to the Gospel of Mark.
That is the reason in Christology it called 100% divine.
New ager gospel called the process alien insemination under space ship captain Jehovah to rescue humanity. It has the astrological gospel recorded in the astrology.
The alien reengineering of mankind is recorded in book of Enoch, and archeologically propounded by Zecharia Sitchin works.
Thomas Aquinas laid the basis of the Immaculate Conception "Such was the purity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was exempt of both original and actual sin" "the Blessed Mary did indeed contract original sin" "for she (the Blessed Virgin) was the most pure because she incurred the stain neither of original sin nor of mortal sin nor of venial sin"
However, it was Franciscan theologian John Duns Scotus, who championed that Christ’s redemptive grace was applied to Mary to prevent sin from reaching her soul and that this special intervention resulted in a more perfect redemption.
The debate did not rest among Catholics scholars until December 8, 1854. Pius IX, sealed in the bull Ineffabilis Deus. So it was to be firmly believed as such by all Catholics. Nicene Creed with “Mother of God".
