When an SVD missionary is buried, he carries with him nothing in the casket except the mission cross that was given him when he was sent off for his mission. It is the same mission cross that was with him in his journeys, in sickness, and in death.
Indeed, we carry nothing in this world when we leave except the love we have left behind. *

On Nov 24, 2024 (Sunday), we celebrate Christ as our King, who reigns in our hearts and the world. Let us pray for all missionaries, especially our SVD missionaries, who share His message of love. May they be filled with strength and grace in their mission. Lord, have mercy on us. Amen.
