As we arrive at the Summer Season, we’re launching a competition through our Instagram to support our city’s wonderful musicians.
The prize:
Up to 20 hours of Matrix Digital Studio time donated by our sound engineers.
Valued at - $2,645.00 inc.gst
This time can be used for
Recording
Mixing
Mastering
Our goal is for the winning artist to leave the studio with a single ready to go to distribution.
How to enter:

Tag 3 friends in the Instagram competition launch post
Like and share the competition launch post to your Instagram story
Post your entry to your Instagram : a clip/reel at least 30 seconds long of the original song you want to record with us. We’re not judging on the quality of the recording, only the song itself. Prop up a phone at band practice, or grab a guitar while you’re sitting on the couch! Make sure to tag and
The competition will run from now until December 16th at 5pm.
The winner will be announced on December 19th and will be chosen based on the merit of the entry.
Things to note:
In order for us to keep track of and evaluate all of the entries please keep your video on your Instagram account feed until the winner of the competition is announced.
Only one entry per artist is allowed. If you are an individual that belongs to more than one act, you may enter more than one act in the competition.
The prize is valid for TWO months (from the 13th of January 2024) and must be recorded during weekend hours. (the recording session may only be booked for a weekend)
