新年好 Happy Chinese New Year! To celebrate we are digging into our 2016 archive to share with you 'How Mr and Mrs. Gock saved the Kumara.' In 1952, young Chinese refugees Fay and Joe fell in love. Together they became pioneers in New Zealand's horticultural industry and saved our beloved indigenous crop: the Kumara. This is a film that will absolutely fill your heart. Happiness and prosperity to all.
With Fay's passing in late 2018, the family sees this film as a beautiful commemoration of her life with Joe. They thank Felicity and Arani, and the team at Diva Productions' for telling Joe & Fay's story with love and respect.
