Aaron says Lesina asked him to come back straight after she dumped him on the show to say she actually still wanted to see him. He was sobbing uncontrollably in the back of a car at the time.

The Bachelorette NZ's Aaron McNabb has claimed that Lesina Nakhid-Schuster called him straight back after she dumped him on-camera to say she wanted a relationship with him out of the public spotlight. They dated for several weeks before he called time on the relationship.

"You're the person that I want to make me breakfast in the morning!" Lily told the Wanaka-based fashion designer.
"All of the ups and the downs, and the early mornings and late nights, and the heartache and the hangovers, you've made it all worth it,"

Lily McManus was always going to be a bachelorette unlike any other. And tonight, when she told 32-year old Richie Boyens that he was the one she wanted to be with, she did it in a suitably Lily way.

"I knew what I wanted from the beginning and it was finding that long term person, a forever person... I think if I hadn't found that I wasn't going to pretend I had... I'm really proud that I feel empowered enough at this second that I didn't find the right person for me... and it's okay that I've left this with no one."

The Bachelorette NZ's Lesina Nakhid-Schuster didn't find her 'forever person' on the show, but she has no regrets about walking away from the show alone.

As NZers settle into lockdown we are discovering that with each passing day we have new questions around self-isolation, sanitisation and staying safe. Some of us are living with essential workers. Some of us are in a bubble with a senior citizen or infant. Some of us have pets. Some of us are in shared custody arrangements with a child going between two homes. How vigilant do we need to be with cleaning surfaces and physical distancing to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe? Here, One Health Aotearoa members answers your questions.

If there's one thing we've learned about The Bachelorette NZ's Lesina Nakhid-Schuster, it's that she doesn't play by the reality TV dating show rule book. While she's gone along with the dates and the cocktail parties and the weekly rose ceremonies, the Auckland-based doctor has increasingly made it clear that if she doesn't find her Mr Forever she has no problem with walking away from the show on her own.

The Bachelorette NZ's Lesina Nakhid-Schuster has dumped one of her two final contendors, Logan, Carr, right before giving out her final and only rose. Now only Aaron McNabb is still in the game.

Dr Kerryn Phelps suggests we've been lulled into a false sense of security because we just accept that there is a "cold and flu season" every year, as well as a new vaccine each year. We believe that if we get sick the health system will have the ability to get us better.

It is a matter of faith that we prepare the right vaccine to match the particular strains of flu that are likely to circulate in the southern hemisphere each coming winter. Some years, though, a new strain emerges after the vaccine has been prepared... This raises the question of what else we could....
