A Prayer for
the Frontliners
Heavenly Father, thank You for the frontliners caring for, protecting, and serving our communities, our families, and us. Thank You for these servant leaders, called to this work, trained for such a time as this, daily risking their own health and safety for others.

Please protect them from harm. Give them courage and strength. Draw close, Lord, and let them feel Your presence throughout the long hours they are working.

Father, please provide everything they need, both for the people they are serving and for their loved ones. Surround them with people who will help and support them and their families, even as they selflessly care for others.

You said we would face troubles in this world, but also that You had overcome it. Please work together with our frontliners, Lord, to ultimately bring about the best outcome possible.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Famgbe town the host community of JOGOS Global Church is a typical coastal settlement dotting the Niger Delta landscape, it is an ancient community prominent among it's neighbours. While inland settlements are grappling with waste management and open defecation, riverine communities like Famgbe settle for floating toilet that empties directly into the river. In recent past, there were four of these toilets 2 for males and 2 for females but owing to poor maintenance culture, 2 of them broke down prompting many to patronize commercial operators of such floating toilets. With this development, Famgbe Community Development Committee (CDC) swung into action canvassing for fund and materials to fix the delapidated toilets or construct new ones. This led the CDC to approach JOGOS Global Church for financial assistance, the corporate social responsibility (csr) arm of JOGOS deemed it a viable project and went into partnership with the CDC to construct a new floating toilet as it's contribution to the welfare of its host community. JOGOS provided funding and the toilet was constructed, dedicated and officially handed over to the community on April 10th 2020. The floating toilet has since been put to use. TO GOD BE THE GLORY: it's all a work of God's grace, JOGOS count it a privilege to be used of God to contribute to the welfare of Famgbe people.

JOGOS Global church Famgbe:
On Dec 29th 2019, JOGOS Global church moved to Famgbe community in the outskirt of Yenagoa, during the inaugural service at Elder Asaba Owei house, Yeneque compound, the people of the compound benefited from JOGOS XMAS PACKAGE comprising rice, vegetable oil, tomato and cube spices for every family in the compound. This is in keeping with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda of JOGOS Global Church. CSR is one of the formidable pillars of the ministry since inception. The ministry recognizes the current socio-economic realities on ground and so on several occasion have step forward to contribute her quota no matter how small. As a church we primarily champion the spiritual emancipation of the people within our sphere of influence but sometimes are guided to extend it to social, economic and welfare of members and host community in any little way possible. We are trusting God for wider and greater impact progressively if our Lord Jesus tarries.
