Harvest of Endorsements: Keke Riders, Owners Affirm Support for Pastor Umo Eno
..Say his Administration will bring Peace to Akwa Ibom State

As the politics of 2023 in Akwa Ibom gathers momentum, groups and individuals have continued to express their unflinching support to their respective candidates.

One of such groups whose endorsement seems profound is the Keke Riders Association in Akwa Ibom State, who on Monday 12th September, 2022 endorsed the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.

The umbrella body of all Keke Operators in the State made the endorsement during the 3rd Phase Empowerment Scheme and Mega Endorsement of Pastor Umo Eno which was held at the Ibom Hall Ground.

Presenting a certificate of endorsement to Pastor Umo Eno and his running mate, Sen. Akon Eyakenyi, the President, Keke Riders and Owners Association, Comrade Jeremiah Jackson pledged the Association's unflinching support to the PDP flag bearer, adding that the decision to endorse him stems from the conviction that his government will usher in a dispensation of sustainable peace and development in Akwa Ibom State.

Addressing the Keke Riders, Pastor Umo Eno who was the Guest Speaker, lauded them for their support, noting that keke riders are significant drivers of the economy, hence his decision to partner them in boosting the economy of the State through the transportation and tourism sector.

He added that he will work with the leadership of Keke Riders in the State to checkmate criminals who use tricycles in committing crime, thereby demonizing keke riders, and stressed the need to come up with a means of identification for registered tricycle riders in the State.

According to him, this will help curb the menace of crime, and engender peace and development in the State.

"In his words: "I am also one of of you. I am an entrepreneur, and I understand some of the things you go through because I also have my history of struggles.

"The Keke riders are the ones who significantly drive our economy. You are the ones who are conversant with our routes. You ride both the indigenes of the State and tourists who visit the State.

"We will organize trainings for you so that you will be acquainted with our tourism locations and also help track fake tricycle operators in Akwa Ibom State."

2023 Guber: Pastor Umo Eno Receives Certificate of Return
.. Attributes successes to grace and mercy

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Akwa Ibom State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Umo Eno has received his certificate of return to fly the party's flag.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the exercise at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, Pastor Eno said "the journey has this far been successful because the battle belongs to God who is a man of war and Jehovah is His Name."

He noted that most of +the recent political happenings around the state and country generally, are beyond human comprehension, adding that when God is involved in a project, He causes the moon and the sun to stand still as in the days of Joshua.

While responding to a question on his vision for the state when elected into office, he noted that his blueprint tagged"the ARISE agenda" is a select combination of five focus areas put together to further the development strides of Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration.

He maintained that his administration among other areas, will embark on agricultural revolution, rural development, women and youth empowerment, Infrastructural maintenance and advancement, tourism development, security management, sound education and health sector management, as well as economic/industrial advancement and wealth creation.

The guber candidate commended Governor Udom Emmanuel and wife, the party leadership, religious leaders and congregations, youths, all support groups led by the Maintain Peace Movement (MPM), and the entire Akwa Ibom people for their support which he said has been his major source of strength.

Waving an olive branch, he called on all party members who are aggrieved for one reason or the other, especially those who had aspired for same office to sheath their swords and embrace the reconciliation window offered by the party, stressing that while there can only be one governor in the state per time, the government is for all Akwa Ibom people.

Pastor Eno who has repeatedly described himself as a product of grace and mercy, expressed confidence that same grace which has seen him through the primaries, will also see him succeed at the election and even beyond the inauguration in May 2023.

2023 Guber: Let’s Protect Akwa Ibom From Crisis and Killings- Umo Eno Charges Christians

The frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom State for the 2023 election, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has charged Christian in Akwa Ibom not to allow crises and killings of innocent souls befall Akwa Ibom State.

Pastor Eno gave the charge yesterday in his goodwill message at the Pre-victory thanksgiving event organised by Friends of Umo Eno League (FUEL) in partnership with Christian Youths in Action (CYIA) held in Uyo, the state capital.

He noted that peace is priceless and the ultimate in every human society adding that the Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration has been widely applauded for peace and security which according to him, will be sustained beyond 2023 with him as governor

Pastor Eno reiterated that the forthcoming governorship primary and even the general elections are not about the swift nor the strong, but the grace and mercy of God, stressing that it behoves on every Christian and believers of the Akwa Ibom project to continuously pray for peace in the state.

He noted that some states in the country and even outside Nigeria are battling with some forms of crises and killings of innocent souls, stating that such must not be allowed to befall Akwa Ibom State.

Pastor Umo Eno has urged Christians to intensify prayers for continuous peace and prosperity of the state, particularly, as the political atmosphere heightens ahead of the 2023 general elections across Nigeria.

Pastor Eno who is the Undersheperd of All Nations Christian Ministry International acknowledged that more Christians are getting involved in politics, adding that there is need for many more Christians to venture into politics so as to make the system better.

He thanked the organizers of the event for coming together to praise God ahead of the expected victory and urged them not to relent, but remain in the place of prayer for a better Akwa Ibom State.

Earlier in their opening remarks, the State Chairman of FUEL, Mr. Anietie Usen and the convener of Christian Youths in Action (CYiA), Pastor Sunday Umanah alluded to the fall of the wall of Jericho, saying that the event was important because great victories are always preceded by praises to God.

They assured the peoples preferred aspirant of the PDP that they will continue to support him and pray that delegates overwhelmingly cast their votes for at the primary.

The leading gubernatorial aspirant for the Governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has emerged the first aspirant to be cleared by the Governor Douye Diri led Screening Committee of the party.

Eno who was the immediate past Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources broke the news to his numerous supporters while displaying his certificate which incidentally bears the number 001, meaning he was the first aspirant to be cleared.

Breaking the news, the leading PDP governorship aspirant said, "My dear Party faithfuls. Further to yesterday's screening exercise in Port Harcourt, I wish to inform you that I have just received my certificate of clearance to contest the 2022 GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARY ELECTION IN AKS.
THE RACE IS NOT FOR THE SWIFT NEITHER IS THE BATTLE TO THE STRONG BUT IT IS GOD THAT SHOWETH MERCY."

Pastor Eno further added that his campaign organisation is steadily on course by the Grace of The Almighty God. News of the clearance sent jitters into the camp of opponents who were trying to demarket Pastor Eno by spreading lies that he was disqualified for presenting fake certificates.

Pastor Eno who says he is set for the upcoming Primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party next month however thanked supporters for their support.

In a statement he released shortly after his screening, Pastor Eno thanked all Akwa Ibomites for their outpour of love and solidarity, particularly all the individuals and groups that came from Uyo and Akwa Ibomites in Port Harcourt who came out enmass to support him during the screening exercise.

He also thanked in no small measure all the leaders of his Team who he observed gave all the needed encouragement.

Pastor Eno gave assurance that he will partner all to usher in a new dawn by connecting the dots and furthering peace and prosperity in Akwa Ibom state.

Easter 2022 : Umo Eno Wishes Akwa Ibom a Joy-filled Celebration.

As the christendom marks the 2022 Easter celebration, in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the frontline gubernatorial aspirant in Akwa Ibom, for the 2023 elections, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has sent his warm wishes to the people of the state.

At its present stage of development, Akwa Ibom State will only derive benefits from a good resource manager. Resources have dwindled over the years and the present Governor has faced two recessions, a Covid-19 disruption and series of unexplainable financial uncertainties. Umo Eno’s Ambition Gathers Momentum Across Akwa Ibom
- As Ikot Abasi PDP Supports Him

The 2023 ambition of a leading Governorship aspirant in the Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Sunday, further received the blessings of the chapter leadership and members of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP and leadership of The Apostolic Church, Ikot-Abasi Field.

This comes as the Ikot Abasi PDP family has further pledged to deliver 100 percent support to the aspiration of Pastor Eno in the PDP primaries and general elections.

At a thanksgiving service held by the Ikot-Abasi chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at the Field Convention Ground Assembly, the Ikot-Abasi Field Superintendent, Apostle E. I. Johnson who led other clerics and members of the church in prayers for the PDP, predicted a resounding victory for the party and the Governorship hopeful come 2023.

In a homily drawn from the book of Psalm chapter 95 verse 2 to 3, the Field Superintendent who spoke on the importance of thanksgiving, commended the PDP family in Ikot-Abasi for acknowledging the supremacy of God in the affairs of men.

"Thanksgiving is a command from God, hence we are obliged to always thank God at all times as long as we are alive. While we were yet sinners, God demonstrated his unconstitutional love towards us.

"For what you've done today, i can assure you that there is absolutely nothing that would stand before this great party that you will not be able to overcome".

The cleric also poured encomiums on the CEO of Hensek Integrated Services, Engr. Uwem Okoko, a PDP stakeholder and the Ikot-Abasi Chapter Coordinator of Maintain Peace Movement, MPM whom he described as a pillar of support to the church, for his immense support to the Apostolic Church in Ikot-Abasi.

He particularly thanked him for facilitating construction work on the Ikot-Abasi Field Convention Assembly of the Apsotolic Church.

Speaking at the occasion, the CEO of Hensek Construction Company, Engr. Okoko, thanked the church for playing host to the PDP family in Ikot-Abasi, and used the opportunity to announce an initial N10 million donation towards the church building project, and also pledged to personally help in the construction work.

He said the thanksgiving ritual was to appreciate God for the electoral victories recorded by the party in past elections and to seek his face ahead of the forthcoming primary and general election,

National Chairman of MPM, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem who was in attendance, thanked the church for partnering the Udom Emmanuel led adminstration in ensuring the sustenance of peace in the State beyond 2023, and announced a donation of N2million on behalf of the Maintain Peace Movement.

"We have come here today to identify with our brother, Engr Uwem Okoko and the PDP in Ikot-Abasi as they have set aside today to appreciate God.

"Akwa Ibom State is a PDP enclave and the state has a lasting partnership with the PDP. It's a partnership that has brought dividends.
The crowning achievement that God has given to the state under the Udom Emmanuel led adminstration is peace.

"There was a time peace eluded the state. A time you couldn't drive from Uyo to Ikot-Abasi without a kidnap incident being recorded. But today the story has been different under the able leadership of His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel".

"We in MPM are partnering with different groups to ensure the sustenance of the enduring legacies of the Udom Emmanuel led adminstration".

Also speaking the House of Assembly Member for Ikot-Abasi/Easter-Obolo State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uduak Odudoh, said Ikot Abasi would deliver all its votes through delegates at the primaries to Pastor Eno and will also vote him in the elections.

"We had our own sons who contested in the previous elections,yet we stood with Governor Udom Emmanuel, we will continue to stand by him in his succession plan.

Others who spoke include the Commissioner for Rural Development, Mrs. Enobong Mbobo, a former Council Chairman of Ikot-Abasi, and Chairman, Ibom Consolidation Project, ICP, Hon. Uwem Ekanem, and the Ikot-Abasi Chapter Chairman of PDP, Etini Ayara all reaffirmed their unalloyed support to the completion and succesion agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel led adminstration, and lauded the church for standing by the government.

The PDP family in Ikot-Abasi also announced a donation of N2million in support of the Apostolic Church Ikot-Abasi Field building project.

A former Chairman of the area and national Chairman of Ibom Consolidated Project,ICP, Barr Uwem Ekanem, also pledged support to the Umo Eno gubernatorial aspiration.

In attendance at the church service were, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Frank Archibong, Commissioner for for Works, Prof. Eno Ibanga, Special Assistant to the Governor on Projects, Mrs. Idongesit Okoko, Chairman of Ikot-Abasi Council and wife, Councilors, Council Supervisors, the Youth Caucus Chairman in Ikot-Abasi, Mr. Edidiong Dickson, Former Chairman of Eastern-Obolo, Mr. Ufikaro Efet, a renowned Estate Valuer, Kufre Ufot, members of the Newbreed for Sustainable Development, and a host of others.
