حديث اليوم
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ (ص)، فَقَالَ «يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا مِنْ عَمَلٍ قَبِيحٍ إِلَّا قَدْ عَمِلْتُهُ فَهَلْ لِي مِنْ تَوْبَةٍ؟»، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) «فَهَلْ مِنْ وَالِدَيْكَ أَحَدٌ حَيٌّ؟» قَالَ «أَبِي»، قَالَ «فَاذْهَبْ فَبَرَّهُ»، قَالَ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) «لَوْ كَانَتْ أُمُّهُ».

Daily Hadith
The messenger of Allah, peace and blessings upon him said

A man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said, “O Messenger of God! There is not a single bad deed that I have not committed, but can I still repent?” He replied, “Are any of your parents alive?”, he said, “My father.” The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Then go and be good to him.” The narrator said when this person left the Prophet (PBUH) said, “If only it was his mother!” [that would have been better for his repentance].

Hadith of the day

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Every one of my followers will be forgiven except those who expose (openly) their wrongdoings. An example of this is that of a man who commits a sin at night which Allah has covered for him, and in the morning, he would say (to people): "I committed such and such sin last night,' while Allah had kept it a secret. During the night Allah has covered it up but in the morning he tears up the cover provided by Allah Himself." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim, riyad as-salihin 241]
