Just In - #Nairamarley has been released Controversial Artiste, Naira Marley has been released by the EFCC, after been arrested early this morning in connection with internet fraud. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission revealed that the reason behind Naira Marley’s arrest is because of his involvement in advance fee scam and other related cyber crimes. The acting EFCC spokesperson, Mr Tony Orilade, in an interview with Premium Times, said, “Yes, he is with us. He’s not the only person; he had some other persons also arrested alongside (him). They were arrested in relation to advance fee fraud — Internet-related cases and all of that. Earlier today at RSU, two students were caught with gun, trying to rob their fellow student at the Faculty of Law. One was identified as Mr Tom George, a 300 level student of Marine Department, while the other accomplice is yet to be unknown. They were apprehended by some mob which attracted security agents that resulted in one of the criminals getting shot at in the leg, before handing them over to school security for further investigations.
