It was with mixed feelings for me as I and my family received the 4th Port Harcourt company of the Boys Brigade in my residence. The visit of composed, , good looking vibrant young boys and girls with a beautiful and bright future. It completely took me back memory lane as I remembered vividly in the 90’s when we visited homes of our members during festive period. I remembered my rank mates in the BB. I remembered Warrant Officer late Kinikanwo Wachukwu alias (Mopol). As much as I tried to compose myself to talk to the boys yet the memories of our daily activities in the BB came fresh. We observed a minute silence for Kinikanwo (Mopol) as I spoke to the boys about the importance of BB in my early age and how the young generation needs to hold strong the ethics of the organization (BB) I also thanked and will continue to thank Rev Capt Ome G. Odum for his contributions and discipline he impacted in my life via the Boy’s Brigade 4th Port Harcourt Company.
