When we were little,a family of eight,my dad had a Volvo 240 CL.
Whenever we are going to church or an event he use to adjust the car center mirror each time he notices something and we thought he was doing that to monitor our movement while he was driving and that disgusts us.
Infact, nobody talks in the car or moves his or her body because we thought dad was watching.We behave so maturely whenever we are in the car.
I,will either move to the extreme of either of the two doors so dad will not be able to see what am doing because he will adjust the center mirror for about 8 times before we get to the church or to anywhere we are going.
I hate that mirror adjustment with passion not knowing he was not trying to look at our movement but rather he was trying to adjust the mirror to be able to see other cars coming from behind.
It took me years to be able to know this and now am laughing over it because I now have my own car my own children and I adjust my center mirror every now and then to be able to see other cars from behind.
The funny part is that my kids sees that mirror adjustment as if am looking at them so they are well behaved while I concentrate driving.
Lesson: you will understand it better by and by.
