Mark Angel Apologises Over Emanuella's Viral Dance Video

Comedian Mark Angel has apologised over viral video of his ward and child comedienne, Emanuella Samuel, which recently caused mixed reactions on social media.

The video, which went viral on Thursday, showed the comedienne in a black dress with high slit, which exposed her lap.

While some argued that she was too young to be posting content like that, others considered the video to be acceptable and applauded the comedienne for her growth.

Reacting to the backlash late Thursday, Angel apologised and noted that the video was shared without his consent.

He wrote on his Instagram page, "Dear friends and family, I want to address a situation involving my child: Emanuella's recent video that has been circulating on social media.

"Unfortunately, she innocently wore inappropriate clothing belonging to one of her elder sisters without our knowledge, posted it on her WhatsApp status but unfortunately a view-hungry adult (who I believe should have done the right thing by calling to report the child's behaviour considering that we consider her a family friend), downloaded the video and posted it on her own tiktok account without considering that the child may have posted that video without fully understanding the consequences.

"The video was shared without my consent or the consent of her handler.

"I take full responsibility as a parent, and I sincerely apologise for any discomfort or concern this may have caused.

"I'm addressing the situation with my child, emphasizing the importance of making responsible choices. Please understand that this was a mistake, and I am taking steps to ensure it doesn't happen again.

"Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time."

LAUTECH wins Switchcon battlefield Competition

Three students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso have won different awards in Software Development Competition, organized by Code Nest Africa tagged “Switch Con Battlefield Competition”

The competition which held at Tech Zone Park, Gbagada, Lagos, saw Ojo Peter ( Matric No 201507), Adio Testimony ( Matric No 0011295) and Olaifa Glory ( Matric No 000477), coming first among about Eighty Universities that participated and being awarded a trophy and consolation price of #2,000,000.00 worth.

Information from the Dean of Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Prof. Adeolu Afolabi, said the students also won two other prizes: that is, People’s Choice Award and Best User Experience Award.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olatunde Rom-Kalilu while receiving the team in his office praised them for making the University proud and promised continuous support of the Institution’s Management.

LAUTECH 400L STUDENT COMMITTED SUICIDAL 😳

The information reaching us yesterday was that this young man name Ogunmola Oluwatobi , a 400L Student of LAUTECH from the department of Pure and Applied Physics was found dead and it's noted that he committed suicidal by hanging himself till he had his last breathe due to the fact that he was owing a lot of people some amount of money and this led to depression which birth this awful and sad news 😢.

We patiently waited till this moment to confirm the validation of this information and it has been confirmed that it's nothing but the truth!

We pray God forgive him all his shortcomings and grant his family, friends and LAUTECH as a whole the heart to bear this great loss 🙏.

Rest In Peace 🙏

ANUOLUWA MULTI-PURPOSE SHED ON 95% COMPLETION ⛳

It's of no news that our pen was irresistibly bleeding some fact on here and all other social media handles some days ago in regards the LAUTECH STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT'21 CAPITAL PROJECT which was under construction behind LAUTECH ODL BUILDING and directly opposite FIRSTBANK ICT CENTER.

This is to inform you all that the 320 SEATERS SHED which we earlier confirmed today that it has been officially tagged "ANUOLUWA MULTI-PURPOSE SHED" is presently on 95% completion which obviously can be regarded as a finished well done job.

It'd be nice to remind us of the importance of this project which has been put in place by the LSUG'21 ably led by Comrade Adeboye Anuoluwa;
1. Having Students to queue under the scourging sun and unfavorable weather is bygone henceforth

2. Having Students who fainted due to the exhaustion of energy from standing for hours before going into the ICT hall will be totally be a thing of the past.

3. The act of forgetting what has been read due to the stress students go through before entering the exam hall is never going to be an excuse for any Student anymore especially me 😂

To mention but few, it's indeed a MULTI-PURPOSE SHED and will be better appreciated when used after the official commissioning.

Kindly let me use this medium to say a big Congratulation to all Ladokites 🤗🥵.
