LALONG GREETS PLATEAU APC GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE DR. NENTAWE AT 55

Former Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has sent warm felicitations to APC Gubernatorial candidate Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda on his 55th birthday.

Lalong in a statement described Dr. Nentawe as an accomplished academic, astute administrator, and a grassroots politician who has contributed enormously to the development of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

According to the former Governor, the qualities of love, commitment, service, humility and intellectual sagacity which Dr. Nentawe has cultivated for many years have been amplified in the last couple of years since he decided to offer himself for political service.

He said Dr. Nentawe is a leader who believes in inclusive governance, peace and aspires to deepen the involvement of youth in productivity and government.

Governor Lalong said the message of hope generated by Dr. Nentawe's Generation Next campaign slogan remains highly anticipated among Plateau citizens who are anxiously waiting and hoping that the election tribunal will return his mandate to serve Plateau State.

While wishing him many more years of good health, divine protection and favour, Lalong urged Dr. Nentawe to remain resolute and committed to serving the people as he awaits the tribunal verdict.

THE NIGERIAN IDEAL

My Fellow Citizens,

I stand before you honoured to assume the sacred mandate you have given me. My love for this nation is abiding. My confidence in its people, unwavering. And my faith in God Almighty, absolute. I know that His hand shall provide the needed moral strength and clarity of purpose in those instances when we seem to have reached the limits of our human capacity.

This day is bold and majestic yet bright and full of spirit, as is our precious nation.

As a nation, we have long ago decided to march beyond the dimness of night into the open day of renewed national hope.

The question we now ask ourselves is whether to remain faithful to the work inherent in building a better society or retreat into the shadows of our unmet potential.

For me, there is but one answer. We are too great a nation and too grounded as a people to rob ourselves of our finest destiny.

This nation’s journey has been shaped by the prayers of millions, and the collective sacrifices of us all.

We have endured hardships that would have made other societies crumble.

Yet, we have shouldered the heavy burden to arrive at this SUBLIME moment where the prospect of a better future merges with our improved capacity to create that future.

To the surprise of many but not to ourselves, we have more firmly established this land as a democracy in both word and deed.

The peaceful transition from one government to another is now our political tradition. This handover symbolizes our trust in God, our enduring faith in representative governance and our belief in our ability to reshape this nation into the society it was always meant to be.

Here, permit me to say a few words to my predecessor, President Muhammadu Buhari. Mr President, you have been an honest, patriotic leader who has done his best for the nation you love. On a more personal note, you are a worthy partner and friend. May History be kind to you.

For many years, Nigeria’s critics have trafficked the rumour that our nation will break apart, even perish.

Yet here we are. We have stumbled at times, but our resilience and diversity have kept

Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Suspended Campaign Activities and wrote.

Early morning today, I was in the emergency ward of JUTH to visit the injured members of PDP that were involved in a fatal accident in Mangu that claimed the lives of some of our precious Plateau angels.

I was led by Dr. Peter Onuminya along with the APC chairman of Mangu among other members of my campaign group.

Consequent to this, Generation Next has suspended all campaign activities for the 3 days to mourn the Plateau souls that perished in the unfortunate accident.

My heart and prayers are with the PDP family and families that lost their loved ones.

GRASSROOTS MOBILIZERS FOR CREDIBLE LEADERSHIP (GMCL) DECLARES SUPPORT FOR AMB. GIDEON DANDERENG PROMISE NOT TO LET HIM DOWN.

Ahead of 2023 general election, "grassroots mobilizers for credible leadership," has thrown its weight behind Amb Gideon Dandereng , saying that he has all it takes to lead Jos South and East to a greater heights say's the group leader Jaminus Nankang (Bayai). The group further encourage and urge Gideon Dandereng to remain focus and not be distracted stressing that those against him are enemies of goodwill.

We are from the PDP and we are not intimidated nor afraid of identifying with you for we are going to work hard and make sure we deliver you in our respective polling units. We have done it before and we will still do it now says Mr. Gyang Musa.

“The group also describes Amb Gideon Dandereng as highly qualified and competent for the job, pointed out that his vast experience stands him out and makes him the candidate to beat any other in 2023." The further declared that there is no better candidate for the 2023 election in Jos South and East than Dandereng.

The group further said that Amb Gideon Dandereng has what it takes to consolidate on achieving greatness if given the opportunity for he has demonstrated all the qualities need in a legislator.

JOS SOUTH YOUTH PROGRESSIVE COALITION ENDORSE AMB CHRIS GIWA, DONATES CAMPAIGN MATERIALS.

A Jos South based political group by name, Jos South Youth Progressive Coalition (JSYPC) has declared support for the All Progressive Congress Plateau North Senatorial Candidate, Amb (Dr) Chris Musa Giwa.

The group which comprises of aggrieved members from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) made the declaration when they paid a courtesy visit to the Senatorial candidate in his residence.

Led by it's Leader, Wang Zi, the group stated that, "Based on our interactions and discussions in our various communities, we have decided to pitch our tent with you because that is what our family and friends are rooting for".

"Jos South used to be a PDP enclave but we are changing the narrative. We are re-orienting our people to support your candidature based on your antecedents and philanthropism which stands you out despite not holding any public office".

Appreciating the group for their visit, an obviously elated Giwa said, "I want to be a Senator my constituents will be proud of. My first priority will be to provide homegrown solutions to the issue of insecurity. Also, we shall skill up our youths and aggressively lobby to secure pensionable employment for them.

The group thereafter made presentation of campaign materials to the candidate and prayed for his success in next year's election.
