The loudest voice we hear is our own voice. The voice inside of us…our self-talk. So quiet, but so powerful. Self-talk is a real deal. Self-talk is something we do naturally throughout our waking hours. It is a form of neuro-linguistic programming. Because of its repetitive nature, it has the potential to mold and sculpt our consciousness.

Our enemy is a destroyer. He likes to bring lies in from early childhood and then convince us that these false beliefs are really our truth. The only thing true about us is what God, the Knitter, Knower, Designer, Creator, says about us. Can we differentiate these two voices? One brings life and the other brings death, usually a slow burdensome death.

Positive self-talk: People are becoming more aware that positive self-talk is a powerful tool for increasing our self-confidence and curbing negative emotions.
Positive words are good for our health as they help boost our confidence, improve our mood, eliminate stress and improve heart health and well-being.
People who can master positive self-talk are thought to be more confident, motivated, and productive. God created us for life and life abundantly. Does your self-talk align with His plan and Words over you?

Negative self-talk: We are also becoming aware of the effects of our inner critic, our negative self-talk. Negative self-talk can influence your self-esteem, your outlook on life, your energy levels, your relationships, and even your health. By taking note of negative self-talk, we can begin the necessary process of interrupting this destructive habit. It’s time to silence that negative voice in our head and speak life and truth into our lives.

Lord help me believe that I am who you say that I am. Help Your voice be the loudest voice in my life. Let me speak Your heart into my heart. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

A WORSHIPPER

Being a worshipper goes beyond our songs.

Being a worshipper goes beyond our beautiful voices.

Being a worshipper goes beyond the tonation we can produce.

It goes beyond the sound we can make.

It goes beyond how vast we are in music.

Being a worshipper is not being a singer, instrumentalist or a levite.

The important ingredients for a worshipper is the

The heart of a worshipper is the currency with which you transact.

If the heart is wrong everything from that individual/Life is wrong.

If the heart is corrupt/dirty, everything that comes from that individual/life is corrupt/dirty.

The currency of the worshipper is the heart.

It is important like a footballer, your instrument is your body and like the worshipper, your instrument is your life.

It's not something you pick up and leave. It's a life you live. It's a life you carry up and down everywhere you go.

It's important you deliberately keep your heart pure and the truth is scripture already said it " guide your heart with all deligence out of it flows the issues of life.

If you do not guide your heart in the world we live in, anything can mess up your heart.

When the Bible says guide your heart, it says protect your heart from what will come.

The job of a guide is to resist.

A guided heart is a heart that is pure.
Such heart the Lord will bless with righteousness.

A heart that is constantly going through purification, that is the instrument of worship.

That's how you become a worshipper. Not because you can preach, pray, sing but just because you have a heart that is reachable and moldable.

It start from the heart, it doesn't stop there.

We have to be deliberate that we bring our heart under the subjection of the holy spirit 🔥

Genesis 24:10-27

Abraham sent his servant out to find a wife for his son Isaac. It was a monumental task.

The servant decided to choose a woman based on this principle.

He wanted to find a woman who would add value to him on his journey.

Such a woman would make a good life partner for Isaac.

You might call this the Rebekah Principle. Rebekah went the extra mile.

Her generosity stands in stark contrast to the prevailing attitudes today.

Her life seemed to say: I'll do what you ask me to do, then I'm going to do something more.

Today, people seem to say: I'm going to do the least that is expected of me, and I'm going to get the most out of it.

To be more like Rebekah, we need to keep in mind that:

can't be generous and legalistic at the same time

cannot walk the second mile until you walked the first

blessings result from extra effort

we give generously, the impact of our generosity often outlived us
