He noted that after the agents got the land, he made independent investigation and discovered that the land was genuine and it was sold.

He disclosed that the papers of the land was handed to him in the presence of a lawyer, Bar Sunday Ununu and he called one of his boys when he was council Chairman and asked him about one Chinyere Alegu and that his boy told him that he knows the woman

“I asked the boy if he was aware that Chineyere has a land along Nkwegu that she wants to sell and he said yes. I sent up to two persons separately to go and confirm from Chinyere if she has a land and it is for sell and they all said yes.

“I then went myself and showed her the papers that were given to me and she confirmed that the lands belongs to them and they said it is for sell. I told them that my friend from Enugu wants to buy the land and they said they are ready to sell it”. He stated.

"Let me tell you publicly, when I was politically incarcerated and arrested in 2014 and locked up in Okaka prison for eight months, why I was there because of state government influence, some person's even find it difficult to come and see me, some Communities were even avoiding me, but this same my mother Community conferred on me the first chieftaincy title. This is an act that nor matter what happened they stood by me".

"I want you to understand that this is a reception in honour of myself and it was not political rally, but if the colouration from the presentation of my chairman and the atmosphere paint Politics, you will not blame him and you will not blame me too because all of us the governing board of NDDC are members of APC. So, if an APC person goes to a place, you will also sure that APC members will join them to welcome him, that is why you see the image that way.

Since my chairman did a lot of politicking, he was inspired to do that anyway and whatever my chairman says, I want you to understand that I stand by my chairman".

"Yiba-Ama, his maternal home sometime honoured him with a chieftaincy title, Ama Tondi (1) of Tugbeni Land, meaning the one that lightens the Community. Surprisingly just after his appointment as the MD of NDDC, solar light is now shining in almost in every Community. This is a man with an open heart who love the region"
