According to news reports, reaching a student of University of Benin (Uniben) 200 level, Philip Okafor from the department of Microbiology was awarded a full-time scholarship by his Dean of the faculty for being honest.

The Student, Peter Okafor found a wallet with a very huge among of money, he looked everywhere to still find the owner and give it to him.

Peter's honesty drawn the attention of the dean of the faculty which he thank Peter for his good deed.

After a while, Peter had to go to his Dean's office requesting the Dean to talk to his HOD to allowed him, write his second-semester exams because he was unable to pay his 2nd-semester fees. Without hesitation the Dean order that Peter will be exempted from paying school fees until he graduated from the University.

A son allegedly killed his father and sells body parts to ritualists in Kwara state.

The Kwara state police command had reported that a suspect kills his father Mr. Michael Olagunju, and sell his body parts to ritualists in Kajola, Oke-Ero LGA of Kwara state.

The police in a statement which reads; “A farmer was killed on his farm at Kajola in Odo-Owa last week. One suspect has been arrested in connection with the crime.

The police have arrested a woman for putting iron ore in her 5-year old private part in Adamawa state.

18-year-old housewife, Aisha Mohammed inserted iron ore inside the private part of her 5-year-old stepdaughter for bedwetting.

The Police PRO of Adamawa state police command Suleman Nguiore in a statement said the suspect was arrested yesterday after which the victim's mother and lawyer report the matter to the police.

The suspect is the second wife of her husband who divorced the first wife. She took the opportunity to commit such an act.

The victim's mother lamented her daughter will not live a normal life as a woman.

According to news reports reaching us, a 12-year old student die after a condom was found in her va**na.

A student identified as Keren-Happuch Aondodoo from Premier Academy lugbe in Abuja was reported r***d after she started to feel pains which lead to her death.

Based on the reports she couldn't walk and fall sick, the school refused to release the minor to her parents, rather she was transferred to a clinic and isolated for some days later her mother took her home.

At home the minor condition gets worse she was quickly rushed to the hospital last Sunday 20th June, where the doctor did a test on her.

The doctor discovered through her urine a dead spermatozoa, hyperglycemia triggered by sepsis which causes the infection, and her death.

A pig farmer refunded the sum of N2.8 million after a mistaken transfer to her bank account in Jos-plateau state.

Mrs. Ruth who rare pig for livelihood in Jos, Plateau state for 10 years stumbled after receiving an alert of N2.8 million from Alhaji Saleh Yahaya.

After she regains consciousness, First City Monument Bank (FCMB) made several calls informing the farmer about the fund, she quickly went to the bank and return the money to the bank, with evidence. The owner (Alhaji Saleh Yahaya) of the money reward her with N10,000 for her honestly.

The High Court in Jos Plateau state has fined the sum of N5 million to University of Jos lecturer, Mr. Thaddeus Londuut for stopping a student from graduating.

According to the reports at our disposal, a lecturer from the Department of economics, Unijos Mr. Thaddeus Londunt was slammed the fine of N5millon after he denied Masters student (Miss. Georgia Mark Davou) from graduating, the lawyer of Miss. Georgia Mark told the court his client was denied from defending her project defense which made the student sued the project supervisor.

"NYSC 2021 Batch 'B' online registration commences 29th June, 2021".

According to Jos based blog (Clusterchannel), she is admitted in Dala Specialist Hospital, Kano state.

The Family are solicited for financial assistance from Nigerians to help save the life of their daughter whose sustain injuries and affected her spinal cord.

THE GRUESOME MURDER OF OUR BELOVED SON-MICHAEL USIFO ATAGA

Here are the facts. A little over a week ago, unknown persons savagely killed our beloved son, Usifo Ataga. With no regard for him, or his family, who love him, they viciously ended his life.

His children will grow up to read unkind, thoughtless words from thousands of people who have joined the lynching party in the press and the blogosphere. Our aging parents must now struggle to pick up the pieces amid a cacophony of misinformation propagated by strangers.

A suspect has been arrested and paraded before the press. We, the Ataga Family, are grateful to the Nigerian Police for pursuing this investigation. However, like you, we have many unanswered questions. Some things don't add up.

If you have any information, don't hide behind online posts. Instead, come forward and share it with the Police.

Here's what we do know. The more you add to the false information in the press and on social media, the harder it is for the Nigerian Police to do their work and fully solve this case. The harder it is for a grieving family to recover from the loss of their beloved son.

We ask, sincerely, that you let us grieve this terrible loss with some privacy. This past week and a half has been the worst period of our lives.

According to the news reports, unknown gunmen kidnapped a Unijos lecturer at his residence.

A lecturer from the Department of Theatre Arts, Unijos, Dr. Dan Ella was abducted by unknown persons, base PUNCH reports he was kidnapped at early hours on Wednesday at Lamingo, Jos North- Plateau State.

One of the lamingo community members disclosed to PUNCH Newspaper, that the lecturer was kidnapped at about 2am in the morning.

“What happened last night in Haske quarters was terrible. It was the sounds of gunshots that woke us up around 2am. But we could not come out when it became clear that Haske quarters was under attack by gunmen.

So, this morning when everyone came out, we discovered that they had taken Dr. Dan Ella away after breaking into their house. It’s really painful because this thing is happening again in the same place where a professor and her husband were kidnapped in similar circumstances last month and Dr Ella who is their neighbour was the one running around to make sure that the kidnapped husband and wife were rescued. And now, he is the one that has been abducted and no one knows where they have taken him to.” He said.

A blood donor heartbroken, ask to provide milk and water after blood donation in Jos.

A Facebook user identified as, Joseph Idu shared a post, where he expressed his dissatisfaction with the Plateau State Specialist Hospital, where he was told to buy Milk and water after donating blood in the hospital.

He posted: " I find this heartbroken and disturbing, I went to donate blood on Monday at Plateau specialist hospital, Jos I was asked to buy my water and milk that I will be taken after donating, people were coming and going back after hearing it that you will have to buy water and milk for your self for blood you are giving for free, where have we got it all wrong".

“You know we were on strike till late last year. We reached an agreement on how to implement the outstanding issue with the government. We will expect the government to implement those issues with timelines.

“They have reneged on a number of them in line with the timelines. But, we believe it is not late; they can still resolve those issues for the peace and development of our universities. They cut your salary today, they pay those who they want to pay today, they withdraw those next week; they expect those people to come to Abuja to come and beg them or look for other things for them. So, these cannot continue in a university system.

“As a union, we don’t love strike because we have our children here. 99% of lecturers in Nigeria have their children in Nigerian universities, unlike the politicians who are actually destroying the system. A lady almost killed in Jos escape with injuries.

A lady who is identified as Miss Nanchi Samuel Well was attacked by kidnappers on her way to Odus Bauchi road-Jos Plateau state.

According to a Facebook post, Miss Nanchi was on her way to odus to deliver a dress to a business client after 8 pm on a Friday, when suddenly three unknown persons attacked her on the Tricycle.

The Tricycle rider decided to change location, one of the unknown persons pointed a gun at her demanding for ATM pin and asking who's daughter is she, the victim refuses to grant their requests, they end up beating her up black and blue, decide whether to killed her or throw her at their den.

At the tricycle, the victim decide to jump from the tricycle knowing the rider was riding at a high speed.

Miss Nanchi survived the incident, she is treated at the hospital and fine.
