Protest rocks Lagos over high cost of living
Dozens of protesters have taken to the streets of Lagos to express their dissatisfaction over the high cost of living under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
An X user, posted that the protesters who identified themselves as members of a human rights group, Take It Back Movement, were seen carrying placards with various inscriptions in the Ojuelegba area of the state.
There is a massive deployment of policemen at the venue of the protest.
Earlier, the Police in Lagos had warned residents against engaging in any protest that would disturb the peace of the commercial city.
