History
• On September 27, 1996 Mongolia’s first independent Channel started broadcasting at 7pm. Its first program used a decimeter wave and pal system.
• On January 22, 1999 the channel collabo-rated with the American WorldNET chan-nel in a one-hour live video interview be-tween former US secretary of State James Baker and the Mongolian parliamentar-ians. Channel 25 connected Ulaanbaatar with Houston and Washington D.C, the first such event in Mongolian history.
• On May 11, 2000 channel 25 started transmitting on the the 10th channel of metric waves.
