Don't miss the 4th edition of the National Press Club Exhibition this Friday, July 1. It commences 10am at the Monrovia City Hall with fourteen schools competing for both Senior High and Elementary prizes. The champion of Senior High will walk away with L$50,000 while the Elementary winner will take home L$25,000 to develop their press clubs.

Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the overwhelming interest in our Vacation Journalism School.
Out of 75 applicants, 60 successfully passed our interview and will be enrolled in our six weeks intensive journalism program.
Meanwhile, the vacation journalism school commences this Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10am and ends on October 30, 2021.
Special thanks to the management of the Liberia broadcasting system, Freedom fm and the hardworking volunteers and staff of Youth Media Action.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Youth Media Action in partnership with the Liberia Broadcasting system wishes to announce to the general public and all those desirous of enrolling in its Vacation Journalism Program that registration forms are now available.

This year’s initiative is designed for children and youths with the aim of providing them basic journalism skills in news gathering, news writing photojournalism, news reading, mobile journalism, stimulating debates on children and youth issues and sharing information that motivates solutions that positively affect these prospective Journalists and leaders.

Registration is absolutely FREE and runs from August 25, to September 12, 2021 while the vacation journalism program will officially begin on September 23, 2021.

The YMA/ELBC Vacation Journalism Program is opened to 5 years old and above who are desirous of becoming journalists.

Pick up a form today at ELBC at ELWA Junction or Freedom fm in Central Monrovia to register for the upcoming Vacation Journalism Program.

Happy World Day Against Trafficking in persons (TIP).
In 2019, with support from Internews, we led a campaign through high school press clubs which promoted Liberia from Tier 2 Watch list after 3 years of failed attempts to Tier 2.
