It was a humbling experience for Q Wave to be a part of ThutuSith : A community kitchen aiming to lend a hand to feed the hungry.

We need to come together as individuals, as a profession of healing, as humans to be a source of comfort and compassion during a time of struggle and strife. Now more than ever before, we need to assume the role we all have the privilege of playing: the role of healers.

We are thankful to our partners Rotaract Club Of Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo and Oberon Health Care for being a part of this initiative. Here is to doing more and doing better!

Today is October 1st where we celebrate the smiles and laughter of Children all over the world. But it is amiss to forget the cruelty of child malnutrition faced by a significant portion of the country.

And that is why we here at Q Wave find it humbling to be a part of the Community Kitchen "Thutu Sith" done in collaboration with the Rotaract Club, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.

Stay tuned for updates and be a part of the journey. We can help a step at a time, to make sure that the smiles of our kids don't stop with October First.

On this eventful day, the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists would like to honour a veteran of the field. A dexterous surgeon, an erudite professor, an insightful entrepreneur, a visionary leader, and above all, a generous and compassionate humanitarian: Dr Rohana Haththotuwa.
