Artists and DJ’s… I understand your time is valuable. My time is valuable also. If for whatever reason you can’t show up to an interview on a platform that I am providing to you, please let me know before I even bother to promote the event. If it’s not a big enough fish for you, you can say that. If you have a prior engagement, say that. If you just don’t have time and can’t bother, say that. At least we know what’s going on. Transparency and communication is everything.

A lesson for 2024: Don't chase clout. I have been guilty of this. I have used my platform to bend over backwards to pursue interviews with established artistes only to be stood up by these same people. Stop bending over backwards for people who only care about getting views they can pay for somewhere else. If you are a grass roots DJ or artiste that cares about lifting up the people and the culture, stop chasing people who care about neither. It's not worth your sacrifice. Be faithful at what you are doing and eventually others will wake up and take notice. What if they don't? Their loss.
