You know what sucks??!!!!! Being an artist/entertainer here in St. Lucia who actually takes pride in your work. Imagine making suggestions for an improved and more impactful performance and work environment for staff, guests and artists alike, only for the recipient/s to interpret it as you being swell headed or telling them how to do their jobs. It baffles me how musicians are constantly hired here based on their experience and qualifications to perform their duties only to be restricted in applying them.

As a regular performer and half of the duo,Rob Zii & Phyness, I can attest to the fact we are very passionate about presentation, from our outfits to our set up as well as our music.

When will the hotels here realize that musicians require knowledgeable /experienced and impartial persons in the field of MUSIC to head a successful entertainment TEAM? There are so many aspects to sound and lighting.... So many aspects to positioning of a performer i.e the build of the designated performance space, power options, proper placement and projection of speakers etc.

Because of the longstanding lack of attention to the aforementioned, we will have musicians who lose their passion.... Musicians who just show up for the buck.... And take no pride in their work... Musicians who will simply do what they are told by ignorant (definition :lack of knowledge) management, knowing that it won't work or it is the wrong way. *clears throat* ROB ZII & PHYNESS WILL NEVER BE A PART OF THOSE ENTERTAINERS.

When you hire us, KNOW that you will be working with two artists who care about how we make YOU, YOUR brand, YOUR resort, YOUR product and OUR island look. We will tell you how we think things can become better. We will tell you when you fall short directly and we expect you to do the same .We will perform for 5 persons with the same energy we perform for 500 persons. We will dress the part.... And we will be doing so genuinely. Because when you hire us, we become a part of your entertainment team too!!! Our(entertainers') feedback and suggestions should be very, if not most important to you, not taken as bruises to your ego!!!
