Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi on Wednesday, March 31, announced that 1,412 individuals had tested positive for Covid-19, out of a sample size of 9,219 tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 15.3 percent.

The total number of confirmed positive Covid-19 cases now stands at 134,058.

JASIRI,TUMAINI AND SHUJAA ARE NOW DEPLOYED TO BOOST KENYAS COVID-19 FIGHT.

Free robots donated by the Japan and the United Development Programme have been put to work at the, JOMOKENYATTA International Airport.

they landed in Kenya over 15 days ago and they are already playing a big role in reducing the spread of covid-19 virus in the country.

These robots perform tasks such as spring sanitizers from containers that are attached to eat from the sides, taking pictures with cameras mounted on it while scanning hundreds of passengers per minute.

It also takes records of temperatures and stores the data giving out the covered directives by the ministry of health e.g
wearing of masks and social distancing rules.

"There have been long queues at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport but now the queues are really moving faster,we urge the government to start purchasing such robots so as to reduce the long queues"(Passenger)
