Sema Mbali (Kiswahili for 'get the word out') is a communications company dealing with all aspects of media and entertainment. It seeks to bring together the dynamism and innovation of youth combined with long-term media experience. Sema Mbali Communications was responsible for putting together the most epic concert yet seen in Kenya- James Ingram Live – who, in accompaniment of a full LIVE band,
put on a great show that was attended by the current President and First Lady of Kenya. The event turned our title sponsor, Migaa, into a Super Brand. EABL, another sponsor, sold the most Blue Label Johnnie Walker bottles that had ever previously been sold at a single event. We also attracted sponsorships from Chevrolet and Tribe Hotel. Sema Mbali is also interested in improving lives and works closely with foundations such as the BloodLink Foundation, Le Ngai Foundation, Ahadi Trust among others to get youth to participate actively in the community. Our director, Erica Njeri, was responsible for inspiring our first lady to run marathons for Charity after successfully completing the Chicago Marathon and raising USD 118,000 for Kenya’s first mobile blood unit. The First Lady has since then raised millions for mobile units across the country in her Beyond Zero campaign. Sema Mbali has a fully-fledged recording and production studio located at Blue Violet Plaza in Kilimani where we work on radio and TVCs for clients such as Nakumatt Holdings and others. Whether it’s events, creating concepts, production work or concerts, Sema Mbali is the right communications company for you.
